888 Monkeys Summer Arts Program For kids 8–16, we offer a Full Day Program. Two different 2-week sessions are available. Each session, kids collaborate with drama, art, circus, and movement professionals to create and perform their own show. No prior experience necessary.
The first week of the program is spent on skill development. The second week participants choose their specialties and tackle specific show business jobs — painting flats, memorizing dialogue, creating circus acts, learning dance choreography, and promoting the show.
For kids 5–8, we offer a Half Day Program. Four different 1-week sessions introduce younger children to performing and visual arts through games and experiential learning activities.
Kids receive professional instruction in: Circus - Drama - Music - Visual Art
Circus: Juggling, Chinese yo-yo, Partner Acrobatics, Tumbling, Equilibristics
Drama: Improvisation, Acting, Clowning, Pantomime
Music: Singing, Rhythm, Percussion
Visual Art:Set Design, Scenic Art, Drawing
Full Day* Program: ages 8–16
